ORD

NAME

ord - Returns the unicode value of a character.

SYNOPSIS

ord(char,hex)

PARAMETERS

char
A character
hex
As hex

RETURN

integer
Returns the Unicode value as an integer.

EXAMPLES

Note: In the followings examples, the _ between the { should be removed to make it work.

in:  res={_{ord('юăààóôðîè')}}.
out: res=1102.

in:  res={_{ord('\n',hex:true,uc:false)}}.
out: res=a.
